1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how MANATRIBAN PRIVATE LIMITED ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use the MANATRIBAN platform — website, mobile-web app, chatbot, and related services (collectively, "Platform"). Our registration number is 29AAUCM8165B1ZY.

We act as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: name, email address, mobile number, hashed password, profile photo.
• Service details: service / booking date and time, address(es) where service is to be rendered, vehicle / property details, task preferences, special instructions.
• Payment information: processed via Cashfree Payments (Cashfree Payments India Private Limited). We do not store full card numbers, CVV or UPI PINs.
• KYC & Identity (vendors only): applicants for our enrollment programme may submit ID type and number for verification.
• Communications: chatbot messages, support emails, customer-feedback ratings.
• Device & usage data: IP address, browser, device type, pages visited, referring URL, cookies, push-notification tokens.
• Marketplace listings: photos, titles, descriptions, prices and contact preferences submitted by you.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, schedule and fulfil the services you book (Daily Helper, Deep Cleaning, Car & Bike Wash, Courier, Laundry, Interior, Painting, RentEase, Marketplace).
• Process payments, issue invoices and apply taxes (GST) and promo codes.
• Communicate booking confirmations, status updates, OTPs, refund updates and other transactional alerts via email and in-app notifications.
• Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
• Improve and personalise the Platform, including analytics and product research.
• Comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests from government authorities.

4. Sharing Your Information

We share your data only as follows:

• Service Partners: the assigned cleaner / driver / painter / vendor receives only the minimum information needed to deliver the service (typically name, phone, service address, service-specific instructions).
• Payment Processor: Cashfree Payments processes transactions and may store payment-related data per its own policy.
• Service Providers: cloud hosting, SMS (2Factor), email (Zoho) and analytics providers acting as our processors under contract.
• Legal & safety: when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety and property of MANATRIBAN, our users or the public.
• We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal data to third parties for their marketing.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above and to meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations. Booking records and tax invoices may be retained for up to 8 years as required under Indian tax law. Marketplace listings are retained for the duration of the listing plus 90 days for dispute handling.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law (including the DPDP Act), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Withdraw consent and request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
• Raise grievances through the Grievance Officer designated below.

7. Security

We implement reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed password storage, role-based access controls and audit logs — to protect your data. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure; you are responsible for protecting the credentials used to access your account.

8. Cookies & Tracking

The Platform uses essential cookies for authentication and session continuity, and a small set of analytics cookies to understand product usage. You may control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may impair platform functionality.

9. Children

The Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International Transfers

Your data is primarily stored on servers located in India. Where any onward transfer outside India is required (for cloud or payment processing), we ensure contractual safeguards consistent with Indian law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email.

We endeavour to acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
